Bountiful Botswana
Botswana boasts enormous concentrations of plains game and predators. It is considered to be one of the best areas for game viewing in Africa. This life-changing journey takes you to three of Botswana’s most wondrous wildlife concessions with the highest standards of safari luxury.

You will start your journey from Maun Airport, where you will take a short scenic flight into the Okavango Delta. Here you will be collected to go to Mombo Camp. The camp is located at the Northern Tip of Chiefs Island, known for its spectacular wildlife encounters and high level of luxury and service. The camp’s luxurious tents overlook a productive plain where you can choose to kick back and relax, or immerse yourself in a soothing spa treatment. Game drives boast sightings of prolific herds of game and predators or even a visit to a secret hide 20 minutes from camp, where you can view and photograph animals and birds.

After your morning activity and a delicious breakfast at Mombo, you will fly to the lavish Selinda Camp for two nights on a Fully Inclusive basis. The camp itself has been designed with the elements in mind, paying homage first and foremost to water, with a crystal clear pool to immerse yourself in, looking over the equally immaculate Selinda Spillway. Activities here include early morning and late afternoon/early evening game drives in an open 4×4 vehicle, guided bush walks, boat-based activities (when the water level permits) and the choice of relaxing in-room massages.

A quick 30 minute flight has you arriving at your final stop on this immersive 8 day tour of the jewels of Botswana – Ngoma Safari Lodge. Activities include a full day safari incorporating a cruise on the Chobe River and a game drive in the Chobe National Park. Located within the Chobe Forest Reserve, bordering the Chobe National Park, Ngoma Safari Lodge commands stunning vistas over the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplain from its elevated perch on the rocky escarpment. The guides – knowledgeable and fearless – leave no stone unturned. Born and raised in the area, they all have a zeal for wildlife, radiating through the safari activities. Explore the bush with them and let their cheerfulness take over.

Best Of Both Worlds
You’ll see all that Botswana has to offer in this 11 day trip. From the Okavango Delta to the Kalahari Reserve and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park followed by a relaxing cruise down the Chobe River and culminating in an exhilarating visit to the famed Victoria Falls – this trip has it all.

The first 3 nights of your journey will be spent at Belmond Eagle Island Lodge on a Fully Inclusive basis with two activities per day. The lodge is a luxurious sanctuary on a private island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Shelter from the midday heat for a cool siesta, or soak in your private plunge pool while watching the majestic theatre of the savannah unfold.

Your next few days will be spent at Dinaka Camp, a private reserve located on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. The reserve offers guided walks in addition to day and night game drives. Year-round water holes result in spectacular photographic opportunities either from the vehicle, on foot or from one of several hides/bunkers. This is the perfect contrast to a stay in the Okavango Delta, with an added hidden treasure!

Your next stop will be Leroo La Tau, situated on the Western bank of the Boteti River. This lodge offers guided game drives into the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park focusing on the exceptional wildlife sightings along the Boteti River. If the water level is optimum, boat activities may also provided. Optional cultural excursions can be arranged to Khumaga Village for a memorable cultural experience.

The next two nights will be spent on board the Zambezi Queen, which will take you along the banks of the great Chobe River. This is a truly unique and adventurous river safari surrounded by complete comfort and elegance. Here you are free to choose your routine – think of it as a floating boutique hotel, where you have the choice to wake up and sip on your coffee watching the sunrise, or stay in bed and take a more leisurely approach with a view from your room.

After a short flight from Kasane to Victoria Falls, you will be collected + transferred for your final night at The Victoria Falls Hotel on a Bed & Breakfast basis. As the grandest and oldest hotel with a prime location overlooking Victoria Falls and a connoisseur’s delight of dining options, we guarantee that this will be a memorable finish to a magical African journey.
